Our Stained Glass Window

Recent visitors to Hod-veHadar can't fail to notice our glass window, whose beautiful colors cast a glow over the sanctuary.

Both windows were created as a labor of love by Gita Edelstein. The upper panels are in memory of the members of the Edelstein-Weisz families whose lives were lost in the Holocaust.

The window is comprised of more than one thousand pices of colored glass.

Each panel tells its own story while providing a small part of the broad view of our peoples’ recent history.

The lower panels were contributed by Eddie Prager’s family and friends. The beauty, spiritual power and message of the windows are a fitting addition to our building and a warm reminder that Eddie remains with us at Hod-veHadar
